Editor-in-Chief Search: Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research® 

The Association of Bone and Joint Surgeons® (ABJS®) is pleased to announce the Call for Applications for the next Editor-in-Chief of Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research® (CORR®) effective January 1, 2028. Seth S. Leopold, MD’s term as Editor-in-Chief of CORR ends in December 2027. Under Dr. Leopold’s leadership, CORR is the highest-ranking peer-reviewed general-interest orthopaedic journal from the U.S.
 
This is an exciting opportunity for an orthopaedic surgeon who is a motivated and innovative leader interested in contributing to the promotion and dissemination of the latest research in orthopaedic surgery. ABJS is seeking an individual with a strong record of academic excellence, preferably with editorial experience with peer-reviewed journals. Applications must be submitted to [email protected] by Wednesday, July 1, 2026. A complete application will include your curriculum vitae and a letter of interest summarizing your qualifications, your motivation to apply for the role, and your vision for CORR (3 pages maximum).

Selected applicants will be invited to present their candidacy to the Editor Search Committee in Summer 2026. Candidates invited to interview with the Committee will be required to complete a conflict-of-interest form to disclose any current professional relationships/activities/interests, financial or otherwise, with for-profit or not-for-profit third parties.

The new EiC’s term will officially begin on January 1, 2028, following a transition period overlapping with the end of Dr. Leopold’s term during the latter half of 2027.
